Barbara Harman, representing the Southern Warren and St. Charles County Food Pantry, was presented a check for $5,100 as part of the Journey for Charity event held in September. Also pictured is Cary Trentmann, Grand Knight of Council 1927 in Dutzow. The annual event had 175 registered tractors, 63 from Concord Hill and 112 from St. Clair. Organizers reported 8,000 pounds of fod was collected during the event and distributed to 10 area food pantries immediately after the event and $40,800 was donated, of which that amount was distributed to eight food pantries last week.
