Jordan’s Place to host grand opening Saturday

A grand opening celebration will be held this Saturday, July 25, at Jordan’s Place, a new youth facility in Warrenton. The center is opening at 202 E. Main Street.A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at noon. Guest speakers will include Cathy Pritchett, co-founder; Robert White, Mid-America Transplant Services; Juan Wilson, Drug Enforcement Agency; and Kelli and Sheldon Clodfelter.Jordan’s Place, a nonprofit organization, is named after Jordan Lunsford, who died late last year from a drug overdose. The recreation center is geared toward youth ages 14-19 and will provide activities for visitors. Saturday’s open house will continue to 11 p.m.The facility is scheduled to be open from 3-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.For more information, visit www.JordansPlace-MO.org.
