A Jonesburg man is facing multiple criminal charges stemming from a May incident where he fled from police and was found with drugs, police said.Darrell Walter Robinson, 40, of the 200 block of E. Booneslick, was charged last week with three felony charges for unlawful possession of a firearm, drug possession and resisting arrest. He also was charged with three misdemeanors for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession and careless and imprudent driving. His bond has been set at $30,000.According to the probable cause statement, a Truesdale officer conducted a traffic stop May 25 around 7:25 a.m. on a vehicle Robinson was driving. When the cop approached the car, Robinson allegedly fled and drove in excess of 60 mph in a 20 mph zone and ran five stop signs.Robinson eventually stopped and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, pot, needles and a handgun, police reported.Robinson had pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled substance in May 2002, according to police.Criminal charges filed
