A Jonesburg man was charged recently with trafficking drugs for an offense that occurred April 22, 2025.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, on April 22, 2025 a deputy observed a silver 2004 Cadillac Deville that had an inoperable rear tail light. The deputy made contact with the passenger, Randy Rainwater of Jonesburg, and received consent to search him. Upon searching Rainwater the deputy discovered a small coin purse with two small pill capsules that ultimately tested positive for fentanyl.
A no-bond warrant was issued for Rainwater’s arrest March 9. He was later arrested on the charge and on March 12 his bond was set at $10,000 cash-only.
