A man from the Jonesburg area was arrested last week and charged with two felonies related to an afternoon break-in in Truesdale.

Tyler J. Narzinkski, 19, was charged with second-degree burglary and stealing following his arrest on Sept. 12. According to a court document submitted by Truesdale police, Narzinkski was quickly identified as the suspect in a break-in that occurred around 4:30 p.m.

Police said the victim who contacted them walked into his house on the 900 block of Market Street to find a shirtless man with shaggy hair inside the house. Upon his discovery, the unknown man fled out the back door of the residence, police were told.

An officer searching the area located Narzinkski and reported that he matched the description of the suspect. Narzinkski allegedly attempted to evade officers, but was caught. The officer searched Narzinkski and allegedly found the burglary victim’s driver license, health insurance card, and bank cards in his possession.

Narzinkski was taken back to the home and identified by the homeowner as the suspect, police said. Narzinkski was booked at the Warren County Jail and then released on his own recognizance the next day. He has a hearing scheduled for Sept. 28 in Warren County Circuit Court.
