An inmate at the Warren County Jail was charged with assault for an incident that occurred Sept. 5 at 5:17 p.m.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, another inmate at the jail told a deputy that Samuel Tyrone White, of Frankfort, Ill. got into an argument about which show to watch on a television in H-pod. According to the victim’s statement, White approached him and struck him on the right side of the face. A video confirmed the victim’s statement.
