A 74-year-old Indiana man sustained minor injuries in a crash Thursday, July 30, on Interstate 70 in Warrenton, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Bluffton, Indiana man was stopped on eastbound on I-70 at 8:47 a.m., partially blocking the fast lane of the interstate at mile marker 190 in a 2014 Ford Explorer, when a 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by a 75-year-old Belton, Missouri man, also traveling eastbound, swerved to the right to avoid the Explorer. The Explorer then struck the rear of the Rogue, according to the crash report.

The Indiana man was transported by Warren County Ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West for treatment of his injuries. The Belton man was apparently uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were totaled.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
