An Illinois man is accused of stealing $4,000 from a local man during what was supposed to be a payment for a used vehicle.Warrenton police report the two met at a Warrenton business Dec. 19, 2014. The victim gave the suspect, identified as Jason L. Cripe, 38, of Windsor, Ill., money for the purchase of a 2007 Dodge truck. Cripe then provided a bill of sale and was supposed to deliver the truck the following day.Cripe never delivered the truck and refused to contact the victim, according to a probable cause statement.
