A Foristell resident was killed in a single-car accident Saturday, Dec. 23, in Lincoln County when his car slid on ice.
Charles Terbrock, 85, was traveling northbound on US Highway 61 at 6:40 a.m. The state highway patrol said when Terbrock was crossing the bridge from St. Charles into Lincoln County his 2008 Chevrolet Silverado slid on ice into the concrete bridge rail, front passenger’s side first.
The truck then traveled left, striking the guardrail on the southbound side of Highway 61, back passenger’s side first.
The truck then overturned on its passenger’s side onto southbound Highway 61 where it came to rest.
Terbrock was pronounced dead at 7:03 a.m. by emergency personnel and transported to a funeral home in Troy, the patrol said.
