Coats, hoodies and personal hygiene products are needed by youth in the community, and the Warrenton-area Care To Learn organization wants your help to fill that gap this Tuesday.
This year for Giving Tuesday, Care To Learn is collecting new clothing and hygiene products on Nov. 30 at the Warrenton Cinema from noon to 6 p.m. The cinema is located at 265 W. Veterans Memorial Parkway in Warrenton.
Items needed include coats for younger kids, hoodies for older kids, hygiene items for bathing and teeth brushing, feminine care products, brushes, combs, hair ties, shaving cream, and deodorant.
Volunteers will be outside the theater collecting donations, so feel free to come by any time and drop off items. Boxes are also available in the office of each Warren County R-III school for students to donate items.
Anyone who would prefer to make monetary donations can help pay for a hoodie or coat for a student at the cost of $25 per item. Cash or check donations can be mailed to 385 W. Veterans Memorial Parkway. Electronic payments through the Venmo app are also accepted — send to @Careto-Learn, with “Warrenton Hoodie” in the comment.
