The Warren County Historical Society will present “The Haunting of Missouri” on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.Mary Collins Barile, an author with a degree in theater history, is an avid collector of tales and plays about ghosts and haunting. The presentation draws from history and folklore to consider ghost stories, sometimes teasing out the truth about a phantom and other times examining the people and land that conjured the tales. Older forgotten ghost stories in Missouri are explored for the truth or the unexplained in each tale.The stories are suitable for ages 10 and older.The historical society is located at 102 W.
