An Arkansas man traveling through Warren County was sent to the hospital after a head-on collision with a Villa Ridge man east of Dutzow Sunday, April 14.Emmanuel M. Stergen, 41, of Washington, Ark., was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington with serious injuries, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.Stergen was driving eastbound on Highway TT in a Ford Focus when the crash occurred at at 10:20 p.m., the patrol said. Stergen collided head-on with a Ford Fusion driven by Derrick T. Hillerman, 21, of Villa Ridge, near the intersection with Duden Hills Road.Hillerman was not reported to have any injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.The patrol report alleges that the crash occurred when Hillerman became distracted and crossed the center line of the road.Crash
