Hart’s Collision and Custom holds grand opening

Scott Hart views every vehicle that passes through his repair bay as a form of family safety. It’s why the Warrenton native prides himself on both customer and car care, and he seems to have a following. Over 200 people poured into the new Hart’s Collision and Custom for the grand opening ceremony held Nov. 17.“I was floored by the number of people in attendance,” said Hart. “The amount of people who came from the community to show support was flattering.”Hart has been working in the auto body industry since 1994 and previously owned another body shop in the early 2000s.“We were just looking for an opportunity for ourselves and growth as a family is the main reason we decided to open a shop again,” said Hart. “We’re here to serve the needs of our community.”He says his shop is a small-town business striving for excellence in quality repairs. In the past Hart has been a body technician, painter, manager and body shop owner. The new location, which began undergoing renovations in January of this year, will offer collision work and also provide special assistance in working with insurance companies.“We’re always up for challenges,” said Hart. “I don’t know anything that I wouldn’t take on.”He has been servicing vehicles all year long and began operating out of this building last month.“I fix your vehicles as I would mine,” said Hart. “If it’s something that leaves my shop, it’s something I would let my wife and three kids ride in. That’s the way something has to be safety wise coming out of our shop.”And in the case the work cannot be done in-house, Hart is confident in his network of professionals to whom he can refer out.

Several classic cars were on display Saturday as part of the grand opening for Hart’s Collision and Custom, which drew over 200 people to the new business.
