Hansen state finalist in Miss Missouri pageant

Brittney Hansen, 13, the daughter of Jenell Flowers, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Missouri pageant to be held June 28-29 at the Holiday Inn in Columbia.The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 to 18 and have five age divisions. Hansen will be participating in the junior teen division, along with other outstanding young ladies from the state of Missouri.Hansen’s activities include archery, playing guitar, and reading. She also enjoys church, school, and watching “The Walking Dead.”Hansen is sponsored by Long Run Express in St. Louis and Wild Kat Hair Salon in Wright City.The winner of the pageant will recieve a $1,000 cash reward, an official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant in California, where she will receive a complimentary tour of Hollywood and two VIP tickets to Disneyland.National American Miss pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s future leaders and equipping them with lifelong skills.
