Several Halloween events are scheduled this year in Warren County, starting next week.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 5:30 p.m., the Warrenton Scenic Regional Library is hosting “Monsters of Trivia,” a night of competition based on classic monster trivia. You can register your team online, in person or by calling 636-456-3321.

Compass Health, across the street from the library, is also hosting a trunk-or-treat on the same day, Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 27 will kick off the Halloween weekend with two more events. Oak Pointe of Warrenton welcomes children to come trick-or-treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the Warrenton Downtown Association welcomes adults to attend “Witches, Wine & Brew” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Main Street.

Oct. 27 is also the deadline for entries for the city of Warrenton’s Halloween decoration contest. Submit a photo of your fully decorated home or business exterior to jenna.jones@warrenton-mo.org for a chance to win free fall festival advertising or 10 Warrenton pool admissions.

Warrenton Firefighters will host a public "Fright Night at the Firehouse" event on Oct. 28 at the fire station on South Highway 47 (26625 S. Highway 47). The event will feature a showing of the movie "Monster House" along with a kids costome contest. The event opens at 5 p.m., and the movie starts at 6:30. Free hotdogs, snacks and kids drinks will be provided. Bring your own chairs, blankets, and drinks for adults.

Wright City will host its annual community trunk-or-treat Oct. 29 starting 5:30 p.m. at Diekroeger Park. Truesdale is hosting a “Monster Bash” on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m., which will include music by D&J Entertainment, a costume contest, and Halloween dance party.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Lakeview Estates community will host a trunk-or-treat from 4 to 6 p.m., next to the clubhouse.
