A Wright City man was arrested Sunday, March 5, for allegedly threatening his neighbors with a pistol.Police were called to the 200 block of Kerland Drive in Wright City to intervene in a dispute between Michael J. Kohn, 40, and two of his neighbors. When police arrived at Kohn’s residence, he reportedly appeared to be intoxicated and answered the door with a half-empty beer bottle in his hand, according to an arrest report. Police reported that Kohn admitted to being in an altercation with his neighbors.Neighbors told officers that during the altercation, Kohn allegedly threatened them with a crossbow before retrieving a pistol and waving it in their direction, the report states. Both neighbors reported that Kohn did not point the pistol directly at them. One of the people who contacted police, verified that Kohn first confronted his neighbors with a crossbow before entering his own residence to change his weapon to a pistol.Police confiscated the crossbow and a fully loaded .45 caliber pistol from Kohn’s residence.Kohn has an arraignment scheduled for March 15 at the Warren County Circuit Court.Michael J.
