The Warren County Emergency Management Agency, in association with the Boonslick Regional Planning Commission, is finalizing the process of updating the county’s natural hazard mitigation plan.The purpose of the plan is to reduce or eliminate long-term risk from natural hazard events and ensure eligibility disaster recovery assistance.The Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee will meet to review and approve the plan at 1 p.m. on Aug. 4 in Room 103 of the Warren County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Warrenton.All city and county government and school districts must develop and formally adopt the plan upon its completion in late 2016.Warren County Emergency Management Agency
