The Warren County Emergency Services Board of Directors, 911 dispatch staff and project partners will officially break ground on an expansion and renovation of their 911 Communications Center in a ceremony later this month.
The groundbreaking is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Warren County Emergency Communications Center, 209 Hwy U, Warrenton.
“This project represents an important investment in the future of emergency communications and will provide the additional space and resources needed to continue serving our growing community and our public safety partners,” Warren County Emergency Services Administrator Amy Leach said in an email.
On-site parking at the Emergency Communications Center will be very limited due to space and construction activity, so those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by Aug. 21 by calling or texting Leach at 636-377-3811.
Additional parking will be available along the driveway leading up the hill toward the communications tower. Warren County Emergency Services said in announcing the groundbreaking that it appreciates guests’ patience and cooperation as they arrive.
