Mrs. Grace Joann Fowler (nee: Baumgartner) of Warrenton, passed away on Monday, December 23. She was born on August 9, 1938, in Conrad, MT, to the late Alfred and Gladys (nee: Mullaney) Baumgartner. She had reached the age of 86.
Grace Joann was united in marriage to Gary Dean "Buck" Fowler on October 10, 1959, in Choteau, MT. They spent 62 wonderful years together before Buck's passing. To this union were blessed with two children, Larry and the late Gary Fowler. Grace was a bookkeeper for most of her working career. She had a passion for cooking. She enjoyed spending as much time with her family, as they meant the most to her. She especially loved hosting family gatherings and showing her charm and friendliness to her family and friends. Grace and Buck enjoyed traveling together throughout the years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Those who are grateful for having shared in Grace's life is her son, Larry Fowler; two grandchildren, Olivia and Emma Fowler; three siblings, Roberta Wellington, Don Baumgartner (Barbara), and Janice Morello; other relatives and many friends. Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary "Buck"; parents, Alfred and Gladys Baumgartner; and one son, Gary Fowler.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. with a 12 P.M. Celebration of Life Service to immediately follow at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated in honor of Grace Fowler to the Scottish Rite Scholarship Foundation.
