Warrenton golfer Bryce Goulette is set to represent Warrenton at the state tournament next week.
Goulette is the lone Warrior golfer to qualify for the Class 4 state tournament. Goulette finished tied for eighth place at the Class 4, District 2 tournament. Goulette shot a 78. Par for the round was set at 71 at the Golf Club of Wentzville.
Gabe Frederick finished second among all Warrior golfers. He finished tied for 23rd place in the tournament, which involved 14 teams. Frederick shot an 81. Owen Thompson and Josiah Hodgson both finished in the top-60 with sub-100 scores. Thompson shot a 95. Hodgson shot a 97.
Warrenton finished 11th place as a team. They finished with a final score of 351.
The Class 4 state tournament will be held May 16 and May 17 at Meadow Lake Acres in New Bloomfield.
