County Lake Golf Club will be closing at the end of the year.
A statement on the Country Lake Golf Club Facebook page says the course at 21309 Country Lake Drive in Warrenton will close its doors as of Dec. 31.
The statement says the decision was made Dec. 8 by the Keeven family, with a plan to develop the property in the future.
“We also want to thank everyone for being so supportive of us over the last 30 years since we have been in business,” the statement through the Country Lake Facebook page said. “We do know that this is a sudden decision and understand the effect this takes on those who have been so loyal to the course all these years. This course became what it did because of you who is reading this and everyone we have been lucky enough to witness to play here. We were so lucky to have had such great customers and staff through all of these years…”
They will post updates throughout the next few weeks. They plan to sell off inventory.
