Three Warrenton Warriors were named to the GAC North first team.
Joe Goldsmith, Kannon Hibbs and Ben Peth were named to the GAC North first team. Goldsmith was named to the first team as an outfielder. A sophomore, Goldsmith was the team’s main centerfielder throughout the season. He hit .259 on the season with two home runs and 15 RBIs. Goldsmith also had four doubles and one triple on the season.
Hibbs was named to the team as an infielder. Hibbs led the Warriors in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and runs scored. Hibbs hit .435 with two home runs and 20 RBIs. He scored 26 runs on the season. He also had nine doubles, which was tied for the team lead.
Peth was named to the GAC North first team as a pitcher. Peth finished first on the team with a 2.89 ERA among pitchers who threw more than six innings. Peth appeared in 14 games and started eight games for Warrenton. He won five games and threw three complete games. He also recorded two saves on the season.
Troy Anderson, Caleb Clark, Austin Haas, Bailey Meyer and Tyler Oliver were named to the GAC North second team.
Clark and Oliver were named to the GAC North second team as infielders. Clark finished second on the Warrenton team with a .366 batting average. He was tied for first among all Warrior hitters with 30 hits. Oliver hit .333 and finished second on the team with a .487 slugging percentage. He led the Warriors with 23 RBIs.
Haas was named to the second team as a catcher. Haas hit .289 on the season. He had eight RBIs.
Anderson was named to the second team as a utility player. Anderson was the team’s regular shortstop and hit .319 on the season. He had seven doubles and 17 RBIs. Anderson also had three saves on the mound, the most among all Warrenton pitchers.
Meyer was named to the second team as an outfielder. Meyer hit .295 with 12 RBIs on the season. Meyer hit seven doubles and one triple on the season.
