Tim Geraghty, director of operations for Alliance Water Resources, has been selected as a participant for the 2015 Leadership Missouri program.He will join 38 additional Missouri business and state leaders in this seven-month leadership enhancement program, sponsored by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Leadership Missouri — a program that has graduated over 900 of the top executive and civic leaders from around Missouri.Leadership Missouri was founded in 1990. It is an educational program that is designed to develop the leadership skills and knowledge base of emerging leaders through a comprehensive study of the economical, political and social challenges that our state is currently facing. Gov. Jay Nixon serves as the honorary chairman of the program.Geraghty is a seasoned operations and maintenance manager with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He is responsible for overseeing Alliance’s field operating divisions, which include municipal and industrial clients, public water supply districts and several not-for-profit corporations. He directly handles operations activities and addresses planning, environmental compliance, client service and satisfaction, and personnel administration issues.“I am excited about meeting other business leaders from across the state and learning from them as well,” says Geraghty. “From the Leadership Missouri program, I hope to bring back to Alliance a better understanding of Missouri businesses, as well as a broader network of community leaders.”Dale Wagner, president of Alliance Water Resources, says, “I truly benefited from my own experience as a part of Leadership Missouri a few years ago and have always believed other leaders at Alliance Water Resources would do so too.”The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founded in 1923, is the largest statewide business organization in Missouri, representing almost 3,000 members.Alliance Water Resources is headquartered in Columbia and provides contract operations and comprehensive management services for municipal and community water, wastewater and public works systems in Missouri, Iowa and Tennessee.Tim Geraghty
