Mrs. Gayle Elizabeth Sorola (nee: Richman) of Hesperia, CA, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. She was born on April 8, 1951, in Maywood, CA, to the late L.C. and Joan (nee: Hubert) Sorola. Gayle had reached the age of 71 years.
Gayle was united in marriage to Neil Sorola on April 15, 1972, in Downey, CA. Gayle enjoyed caring for her family. They were of utmost importance to her. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren and cared for them each uniquely and deeply. When Gayle was younger, she enjoyed riding horses and bowling. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Gayle was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Gayle Sorola was preceded in death by her husband, Neil; her parents, L.C and Joan; one granddaughter, Alexandria McDow; and one sister-in-law, Faye Richman. Those members of her family who will remain grateful for having shared in Gayle's life are her children, Denise Sorola, Ryan Sorola and wife Shaneen, and Kyle Sorola; nine grandchildren, Kasydhe, Jacob, Aaron, Noah, Preston, Riley, Aiden, Landon and Mason; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Elyseanna and Evender; three siblings, Dr. Dennis Richman and wife Dr. Marie Richman, John Richman and Melinda Richman; four nephews, Dylan Richman, Dr. Erik Richman and wife Dr. Courtney Richman, Mark Richman and Kurt Richman; great-nephew, Kristofer Richman great-nieces, Allison Richman, Maeve Richman and Enid Richman; other relatives and many friends.
We will celebrate the life of Gayle Sorola with a visitation on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, with funeral to immediately follow. A committal service will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery.
