Tom Trower, a service technician and first responder with AmerenMissouri, checks for leaking gas from a line which was damaged Friday morning at the southwest corner of Highway 47 and Veterans Memorial Parkway. According to Warrenton Fire Chief Mike Owenby, an electrical contractor which was performing work hit the line with a piece of equipment causing the leak. The incident was reported about 9:45 a.m. The gas line is owned by AmerenMissouri.
