Rebecca Boone Elementary held a colorful fundraising event at the school Saturday, Oct. 7, with its first Color Fun Run/Walk. “It’s a color powder that you throw on people. We put it in Squeeze Bottles to throw at you as you go by,” said Roseann Gerland, PTO secretary for Rebecca Boone Elementary. Teachers, PTO members and National Honor Society students operated the squeeze bottles. Proceeds from the event benefit PTO initiatives such as improved playground equipment and technology and support for field trips and clubs.   Record photos/Derrick Forsythe. To order photo reprints, call 636-456-6397.
