The Puetz Farm near Warrenton is the annual sponsor of a farm tour for area fourth-grade students, also sponsored by the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District. Students from Daniel Boone, Rebecca Boone and Warrior Ridge elementaries visited the farm Sept. 26 and 28 with 340 students and chaperones. Students visit a variety of stations exploring farm safety, soils and terraces, farm animals, trees and wildlife, crops and rocks and minerals. Lunch is served by the Pork Producers.
