Benefit fundraisers to assist a Jonesburg resident with medical bills will be held at the Warrenton Elks Lodge and The Warehouse Bar and Grill in Jonesburg.
Jonesburg resident Mickey Williams has been hospitalized since Nov. 7 with complications from COVID-19, organizers of the fundraisers said. All money collected during the two fundraisers will go to help with her expenses.
The Warrenton Elks Lodge benefit event will be held Feb. 13 starting at 10 a.m. It will include a corn hole tournament at 10 a.m., gun raffles, 50/50 raffle, live and silent auction, as well as a DJ and dancing.
At The Warehouse Bar and Grill in Jonesburg, a king-size quilt composed of community-donated Cardinals shirt fabric is being raffled to raise funds. Raffle tickets are being sold for $5 each. Once all the tickets have been sold, The Warehouse will broadcast the drawing over Facebook Live video.
