Frank Harling

Mr. Frank William Harling of Warrenton, formerly of St. Louis, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was born in St. Louis on October 26, 1935, to the late Frank and Edith (Nee: Curts) Harling. Frank had reached the age of 86 years.

Frank was united in marriage to Jerie Young in 1958. They were happily married for 43 years before her passing in 2001. Frank worked as a suit tailor for the Biltwell Company located in downtown St. Louis. He retired from Biltwell after 30 years. Frank and Jerie moved from St. Louis to Ferguson in 1965. Being from St. Louis, Frank loved the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Blues hockey team. He enjoyed watching college basketball as well, watching any college basketball that was on TV. Frank enjoyed going to the casino and drinking Pepsi. He was a devoted family man, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. 

Frank Harling was preceded in death by his wife, Jerie, and his parents, Frank and Edith. Those who are grateful for having shared in Frank's life are his children, Glen Abrams, Kathy Hollenberry and husband Tom, Diane Dubuque, Barbara Harling, and Robert Harling; 11 grandchildren, James Biggs and wife Carie, William Biggs and wife Alex, Samantha Hollenberry, Megan Frix and husband Garrett, Phillip DuBuque, Melissa Torres and husband Lius, Amanda DuBuque, Josh Martin and wife Brittany, Nick Harling, Jay Harling and Deven Rachel; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Mr. Harling will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will directly follow. Mr. Harling will be laid to rest at New Bethlehem Cemetery in St. Louis. The family has asked that everyone wear their favorite St. Louis Cardinals gear on Saturday.
