A Warrenton man walked away uninjured from a crash last Wednesday that totaled four vehicles and clogged Highway 364 in St. Charles County for several hours.Just before 6 a.m. March 15, Zachary Womack, 30, Warrenton, was caught up in a chain of collisions that brought traffic to a crawl in the eastbound lanes of one of St. Charles County’s busiest roadways.The first collision occurred when a Chevrolet Classic driven by Christopher Clouse, 22, St. Peters, swerved off the left side of the road in an attempt to avoid another vehicle near the Highway 94 exit, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. As the Chevy returned to the road it reportedly struck the side of a Hyundai Sonata driven by Kathleen McIntosh, 57, St. Charles, which then traveled into the path of, and was hit by, a Honda Accord driven by Sharon Olson, 59, St. Peters.Womack, driving a Honda Odyssey minivan, was the last involved in the crash, striking the Chevy Classic.Highway traffic was reduced to one lane or closed for two to three hours while crews cleared the road of vehicles and debris. McIntosh received minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Olson had moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles. Clouse and Womack did not have reported injuries.All of the involved drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.Car Accident
