A felony charge was filed last Thursday against a Foristell man, with an active felony warrant, who lied on a form and attempted to purchase a rifle from a Wright City business in June.Lonnie Keene II, 47, of the 10000 block of Fairway, was charged with attempted fraudulent purchase of a firearm.At the time of the attempted purchase June 11, authorities said Keene had an active felony stealing warrant from a previous arrest in Wayne County and was under investigation for assault and armed criminal action, according to the probable cause statement.A deputy spoke to Keene that same day and he allegedly admitted to attempting to purchase the rifle.Felony Charge
