A Foristell man who has four drunk-driving convictions is facing a fifth similar charge.Police said Jimmie R. Anthony, 55, of the 400 block of Dietrich Road, had a blood-alcohol level more than double the legal limit. He was stopped by Foristell police on Dec. 29 around 7:23 a.m. in the area of Cotton Road and West Meyer Road.Anthony has been charged as a persistent offender for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license, both felonies. His bond was set at $30,000.According to the probable cause statement, police observed Anthony’s vehicle cross the center line more than one time. When stopped, the officer reported had a strong odor of alcohol and refused all sobriety checks. Anthony’s blood-alcohol level was .182 percent, police said. The legal limit is .08 percent.Anthony was convicted of drunk driving in 1988, 1999, 2002 and 2005, according to the probable cause statement.Jimmie R. Anthony
