Foristell man charged for stabbing, pushing victim from vehicle

A Foristell man is facing a felony charge after allegedly cutting another man with a knife and pushing him out of a moving vehicle earlier this month.

Colian Spight was charged July 15 with second-degree assault in connection with the incident, which occurred in the early morning hours of July 5, according to a probable cause statement.

Sometime after 2 a.m., the victim was sitting in Spight’s truck at the beach area at Incline Village and Spight was talking to him about girls at the beach. When the victim told Spight the girls were not their age and he was being perverted, Spight allegedly became aggressive, pulled out a knife, and held it to the victim’s neck while attempting to get him out of the vehicle.

Spight then allegedly jabbed the knife into the other man’s arm, “leaving a small laceration,” again told him to get out of the truck, then started the vehicle, opened the passenger side door, started driving, and then pushed the victim out of the moving truck.

A Warren County sheriff’s deputy later spoke with the victim, who said he was in “severe pain,” and “observed deep cuts and lacerations” to his ankle, leg, torso and shoulder.

Spight, born in 1985, was being held Monday at the Warren County Jail with his bond set at $50,000 cash only.
