Florence "Suggie" L. Webb (nee Grimes) of Wright City passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 19, at the age of 84 from complications due to Dementia.

Florence was born December 5, 1939, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Daniel B. Grimes and Mildred C. Grimes (nee Hornberger). She attended Catholic school in St. Louis and eventually met her husband Jerry Lee Webb, Sr. Jerry and Florence met while working at White Castle after high school and married after a two year courtship. They were married for 60 years and had five children; Annette, Tina, Terry, Teresa, and Jerry Lee, Jr.

Florence and Jerry owned several businesses over the years in the Florissant and St. Peter's area. After retirement, Florence worked as a bus aid for children with special needs, something she felt very passionate about. Before her illness, she enjoyed monthly trips to the casino to try her luck at the slot machines as well as cheering on the local St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, something she enjoyed watching with her husband. Florence also enjoyed various trips with her daughter Annette in Annette's motorhome.

She is survived by her five children, Annette Orf, Tina (Mark) Joerding, Terry (Scott) Blattel, Teresa (Joe) Lampe, Jerry Lee (Angela) Webb, Jr.; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Kendra, Amanda, Crescent, Kelsey, Daniel, Ashley, Madelyn, Joseph, Nicholas, and Hannah; 10 great-grandchildren (11th on the way); sister, Mary Schultz; two sisters-in-law, Joan Grimes and Jeannie Grimes; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel B. Grimes, mother, Mildred C. Grimes (nee Hornberger), husband, Jerry L. Webb, Sr., siblings, Betty (Grimes) Boehm, Daniel Grimes, Richard Grimes, John Hornberger, James Grimes, Sr., brother-in-law, Robert Schultz, nephew, James Grimes, Jr., niece, Cathy Boehm.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home,  in Wentzville.
