The Wright City Parks Department will be hosting a Flag ceremony this Saturday, June 7, beginning at 11 a.m. at Diekroeger Park.The ceremony is being held in conjunction with Patriotic Packages, which sends items overseas to deployed soldiers, and other local groups. Following the brief ceremony, local youth will properly dispose of more than 200 American flags. Attendees can also write letters or draw pictures that will be sent to mailed in care packages to soldiers.American flags should be dropped off at city hall in Wright City by 5 p.m. Friday so that they can be included in the ceremony.Flag ceremony to be held in Wright City Saturday
