The Wright City Wildcats brought home five medals from the state track and field competition, including a pair of third place finishes.

Wright City's Jeremiah Davis earned four medals at the Class 3 state track and field meet. Davis placed third in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Davis earned a sixth place medal in the Class 3 400-meter dash. Davis teamed up with Devin Myers, Blake Hogan and David Riggs to place sixth in the 4x200-meter relay.

Wright City junior Elizabeth Riggs placed sixth in the Class 3 300-meter hurdles to earn a medal for the second straight year. Riggs also earned a medal in the same event last season.

A pair of Warrenton athletes competed at the second day of the state meet. Senior Madelyn Marschel placed 15th in the Class 4 800-meter run. Sophomore Avery Shaw placed 16th in the Class 4 girls shot put.
