Five people were injured in a crash Saturday, Aug. 4, when two vehicles collided going opposite direction on Highway T south of Foristell.The injuries of vehicle occupants ranged from serious to minor, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.The driver of one of the vehicles, Steven K. Gassei, 52, Lake Sherwood, had serious injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.The driver and an occupant of the second vehicle, Richard L. Godwin and Dianna C. Godwin, both of Foristell, were also taken to the hospital with minor and moderate injuries, respectively.Two other occupants of the second vehicle were taken to the St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles. They are Deonna L. Hampton and Joel L. Hampton, both of Labelle, Fla. Deonna Hampton had moderate injuries, while Joel Hampton’s injuries were minor.According to the highway patrol, a 2012 Dodge Charger driven by Gassei crossed the center of the road and struck the front of a 2016 Ford F150 driven by Richard Godwin. The crash happened at 2:40 p.m. on Highway T, south of Highway N.The occupants were all wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. They were transported by St. Charles County Ambulance.Crash
