Three people were taken to the hospital Thursday, Nov. 29, after a crash on North Highway 47 in Warrenton involving at least five vehicles.The crash impacted vehicles traveling both directions at the intersection with Cedar Trail Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report.At 3:12 p.m., a Ford Escape driven by Emma R. Lewis, 16, Warrenton, was attempting to turn left onto Cedar Trail Road from northbound Highway 47. Two cars behind her, a Chevy 2500 driven by Kevin A. Goris, 24, Cottleville, failed to stop for traffic, the patrol said.Goris’s truck rear-ended a Chevy Impala driven by Cynthia A. Johnson, 51, Truxton. The Johnson vehicle spun, striking the Lewis vehicle, as well as a Nissan Altima driven southbound by Savannah L. Wilson, 15, Troy.A Chevy Colorado, driven by DeAnn C. Byrum, 43, Hawk Point, was in the southbound lane and drove off the right side of the road into an embankment, the patrol said.Lewis, Byrum and Erica N. Wilson, 41, a passenger in the Wilson vehicle, were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.Goris and Johnson didn’t have injuries reported.All the people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.Crash
