Warren County emergency responders teamed together to rescue a dog from an icy pond on Sunday, March 8.
The dog had entered the pond and became trapped. Crews from Warrenton and Wright City fire protection districts responded around 3:20 p.m. Also assisting were the Warren County Sheriff's Department and Warren County Ambulance District.
The dog was about 15 feet off shore and a firefighter, wearing a special suit, entered the pond to rescue the canine.
