Wright City Fire District is clarifying Warren County assessor abbreviations for the area’s fire districts. A misprinted flier was mailed earlier this month to several residences in the Warrenton Fire Protection District.Wright City Fire Chief Ron MacKnight said these are the correct abbreviations for the Warren County assessor for each fire district:• Marthasville Fire Protection District, F1• New Melle Fire Protection District, F2• Wright City Fire Protection District, F3• Warrenton Fire Protection District, F4• New Florence Fire Protection District, F5• Jonesburg Fire Protection District, F6• Hawk Point Fire Protection District, F7MacKnight said the mission of the Wright City Fire Protection District is to serve, educate and protect the community.
