A fire damaged the detached garage of a home south of Warrenton Thursday, Jan. 12.The fire happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 22000 block of South Highway 47. No one was injured.Warrenton Fire Chief Mike Owenby said the firebox of an active woodstove in the garage failed and split, releasing flames into a heat duct.
