By Tim SchmidtRecord Managing EditorIn the first day of candidate filing for the April election, a crowd formed for two spots on the Warren County R-III School Board.So far the race has four people — incumbent Jan Sutherland, Ginger Schenck, Alan Dreyer and Danny Roach — vying for two, three-year terms on the board.The filing deadline is Jan. 19. The election will be held April 5, 2016.The only other race to form is for the Ward 3 seat in Warrenton. John Miller will challenge incumbent Jim Dreyer.No candidates have filed for the Ward 1 and Ward 2 seats currently held by Toni Hawley and Damion Frederick, respectively.In Wright City, Mayor David Heiliger, Ward 1 Alderman Jim Schuchmann and Ward 2 Alderman Forrest Bruce are the lone candidates to file.Two incumbents are seeking re-election in Marthasville. West Ward Alderman Pam Jensen and East Ward Alderman Nick Lange were the lone candidates to file Tuesday.Incumbent Tom Stevener was the lone candidate to file for one of two trustee positions in Innsbrook.In Truesdale, no one has filed for any of the seats.Both incumbents are running for two positions on the Wright City R-II School Board. They are Austin Jones and Mary Groeper.The Warren County Ambulance District has two positions open on its board of directors. Two incumbents, Jill Smoot and Merlyn Petersmeyer, are running again for seats representing Subdistrict 3 and Subdistrict 6, respectively.No candidates have yet to surface as of press time for two spots on the Marthasville Community Ambulance District Board of Directors.There are also openings on the Marthasville Fire Protection District and Warren County Emergency Services board of directors.Candidate Filing
