Candidate filing closed Tuesday as only a few races will be contested in April's municipal election. The election will be held April 5. Listed below is a list of candidates who filed for positions within the county: Warrenton (two-year terms) - Ward 1, Phil Tallo; Ward 2, Beth Kendall and Jerry Van Dillen; and Ward 3, John Clark. Wright City (two-year terms) - Ward 1, Tom Black; and Ward 2, James Toothman. Truesdale (two-year terms) - Mayor, Murray Bruer; and Aldermen (two positions), Donald McGee and Adriane Null. Marthasville (two-year terms) - Mayor, Dale Verges; Ward 1, John Graham; and Ward 2, Keith Hagedorn. Innsbrook (three, two-year terms) - Jeff Thomsen, Jerry Rust and Peggy Morris. Warren County R-III School Board (three, three-year terms) - Teresa Scott, Beth Banze, Lisa Wilmes and John Bradshaw. Wright City R-II School Board (three, three-year terms) - Joseph Butterfield, Melissa Springmeyer and Corri Ruge Olson. Warrenton Fire Protection District Board of Directors (one, six-year term) - Dolores Owenby.
