Record Managing EditorMore races emerged for municipal seats in the final week of candidate filing.Some of the races that will now be contested include the mayoral position in Wright City and both aldermen seats in Marthasville. The filing period ended Tuesday. The election will be held April 5.Jim Logan, a former Warren County associate commissioner, will challenge Wright City Mayor David Heiliger.In Marthasville, John Graham and incumbent Nicholas Lange will vie for the East Ward Alderman seat, while Christopher DeVore and incumbent Pam Jensen are running to represent the West Ward.Three candidates have also withdrawn in the past week.Jim Schuchmann, who has been the Wright City Ward 1 alderman for several years, withdrew. John O’Connor filed in the past week and will face Norman Krutzman.The field for four spots on the Warren County Emergency Services Board will no longer include John Gebhards. He withdrew in recent days and Linda Gant filed. She joins Roger Stewart, Frank Stuermann and Davis Bernard as candidates who will all run uncontested.Danny Roach dropped out of the race for Warren County R-III School Board, leaving four candidates for two positions.Here is the list of candidates:Warrenton (three, two-year terms) — Ward 1, Mike Shilharvey and Damion Frederick; Ward 2, Dan Durbin and Scott Schulze; and Ward 3, John Miller and Jim Dreyer.Wright City (three, two-year terms) — Mayor, David Heiliger and Jim Logan; Ward 1, Norman Krutzman and John O’Connor; and Ward 2, Forrest Bruce and Tom Dixon.Truesdale (two, two-year terms) — Shalene Blackwood and Christopher Watson.Marthasville (two, two-year terms) — West Ward, Pam Jensen and Christopher DeVore; and East Ward — Nicholas Lange and John Graham.Innsbrook (two, two-year terms) — Tom Stevener, Cynthia Bowers and Theodore R.
