A Lincoln County man who allegedly broke into two businesses along East Veterans Memorial Parkway in Warrenton is facing multiple felony charges in Warren County Circuit Court. Beau D. Ford, 21, Troy, is charged with two felony counts of second-degree burglary and one felony count of first-degree property damage, according to the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney's office. Ford also faces two misdemeanor counts of stealing and one misdemeanor count of property damage, court records indicate. Bond in the case was set at $30,000. Ford made no admission of guilt when interviewed by Warrenton police regarding the two incidents. Ford remains at large, according to Warrenton police. Officers with the Warrenton police responded to a burglary complaint at The Sharper Image at 801 East Veterans Memorial Parkway. According to the victim, Robin Meier, the rear glass door to the business was shattered and an unknown person scattered numerous items around the store and took $10 from the cash register, according to a probable cause statement. The incident occurred sometime during the morning, Wednesday, March 27. Meier estimated the damage to the door at approximately $1,000. Police found a metallic Dickies clothing button on the floor and seized the item as evidence in the case, police stated. During an investigation into the incident, Warrenton police were notified of a second burglary complaint at 719 East Veterans Memorial Parkway, which is the location of Pennzoil Auto Lube Plus. Police spoke with the victim of the second robbery, James Baker, who stated that a piece of concrete had been thrown through a rear glass door. A total of $190 was taken from two bank bags in the store, according to police. The Pennzoil burglary also occurred the same morning as the incident at The Sharper Image, police stated. Surveillance video taken during the robbery showed a suspect who strongly resembled Ford, police stated. The suspect was wearing a hooded jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes. Authorities made contact with Ford at a residence in the 200 block of Conrad Circle in Truesdale. Upon arrival, police said a black, hooded Dickies jacket with a button missing was seen on a nearby table. Ford was taken into custody and later interviewed at the Warrenton Police Department headquarters. Ford was advised of his Miranda rights and he indicated to police that he understood, according to a probable cause statement. When asked if he committed the burglaries, Ford reportedly told police, "I'm not saying I didn't and I'm not saying I did."
