Wright City Head Coach Ken Brown called senior guard Trey Saddler the heart and soul of this year’s basketball team.

Saddler has started every game for the Wildcats this season while single-handedly leading the team to a few wins along the way.

Also a member of the Wright City football team, Saddler hopes to play football or basketball in college before potentially starting a career in construction.

Saddler sat down with The Record recently as February’s Athlete of the Month.
