A dispute between family members in early July led to a physical altercation, according to police, resulting in a felony assault charge for one.Corey Feb, 26, Moscow Mills, is accused of third-degree assault after allegedly choking a relative.Warrenton officers were dispatched to a fight in progress at a home on the 2200 block of Paige Marie Drive around 6:30 p.m. July 2, according to a police report.The person identified as the victim in the assault reportedly told police that during an argument, Feb pushed her into a vehicle and began choking her from behind with his arm. The woman stated it was difficult to breathe and she thought she might lose consciousness, according to police.Feb said he was restraining her by placing his arm around her neck, the report states.Two witnesses reported Feb grabbed the woman around the neck and took her to the ground, with one witness stating the woman was gasping for air and was red in the face, according to police.The assault charge against Feb is a Class E felony that could lead to a prison sentence or a fine if he is convicted.Crime
