Mrs. Ethel Carol Albert, (nee: Lewis), 82, Wright City, passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at St. Joseph's Hospital West in Lake St. Louis. Ethel was born on Aug. 18, 1937 in St. Louis, to the late Earl and Mildred (nee: Canoy) Lewis.
Ethel was married to Bobbie Gene Albert for over 50 years, before his passing in 2007. To this union, four children were born. She worked at Binkley in Warrenton for over 30 years and then "retired" and began working at Walmart in Warrenton, where she worked for 11 years. Ethel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Ethel Albert was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobbie; her parents, Earl and Mildred; two children, Noel Albert, Bobbie Albert; and her sibling, Earl Lewis Jr., Kenny Lewis, Darlene Burkett, and Ron Lewis. She survived by her children, Allen Albert and wife Jessica; Peggy Carr and husband Rodney; five grandchildren, Alyssa Laughlin and husband Nick, Jesse Albert, Travis McKenzie, Kyle Price and wife Sara, Alyssa Ramirez; six great-grandchildren, Rori, Remi, Hayden, Paisley, Stella, Kate; one brother, Timothy Lewis; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, from 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton, Mo. 63383.
