Emmaus continues expansion

Emmaus Homes has signed a five-year lease for a 5,600-square-foot office building located at 16020 State Road 47 in Marthasville.The building is the former Citizens Bank building and shares a parking lot with The Infield. This move is part of the transition plan adopted by the organization’s board of directors last year. The new office space will provide administrative services and meeting space previously provided on the Marthasville campus.Emmaus is renovating the building to meet its administrative needs including adding multiple conference and meeting rooms. The renovations are expected to be complete this fall.“This building will provide office space for the 12 current administrative positions on the Marthasville campus, including client services and nursing staff, and also allows for future expansion.“We’re excited to remain a part of the Marthasville community,” said Cindy Clark, Emmaus president and CEO, “This community has been a great supporter of Emmaus for more than 120 years.”This move is part of Emmaus’ continued expansion into the community. Within the last six months, Emmaus has transitioned eight clients off the Marthasville campus into homes in the community of their choice.These transitions have included opening two new homes in Marthasville and one in Wright City. Additionally, two more homes are slated to open in the Warrenton area in August.By the year 2020, Emmaus plans to have all of the more than 275 clients served by the organization live in homes in the local community.
