Election Day Tuesday; Polls Remain Open Until 7 p.m.

Warren County voters will go to the polls Tuesday, April 2, to cast ballots for various municipal and school board races. A countywide proposal to allow the county to levy a local use tax on items purchased outside Missouri also will be decided. Polling began at 6 a.m. Voting sites will remain open until 7 p.m. Results of Tuesday's election will be published in the Thursday, April 4, edition of the Warren County Record. Here is a list of races and issues on the ballot:

Warrenton There are races for seats on the board of aldermen in all three wards. Karen Casserly and Ron Jurgesmeyer are seeking election to the board from Ward 1. Scott Costello and Gary Auch are running for the board in Ward 2. Incumbent John Clark and Donald Broering are seeking to represent residents in Ward 3. Wright City There are two candidates for the Ward 1 seat on the Wright City Board of Aldermen, and three people running in Ward 2. Incumbent Danny Rowden is facing a challenge from Matt Barbey in the first ward. Current Ward 2 Alderman Jim Toothman is challenged for re-election to his seat by Forrest Bruce and Angie Reynolds.

Wright City R-II School Board Four candidates, including two incumbents, are seeking election to two open seats on the Wright City R-II School Board. Incumbents Austin Jones and Mary E. Groeper are challenged by Daniel J. LaMartina and Rodney G. Smith.

Innsbrook Board of Trustees There are four individuals, two of them incumbents, running for two open seats on the board of trustees for the Village of Innsbrook. Incumbents Jeff Thomsen and Jerry Rust are running against Trish Dunn and Diane Moyerman.

Other Issues Voters in Marthasville will cast ballots on Proposition R for the Washington School District. There also are three candidates for two seats on the Washington School Board.

Uncontested Races Several candidates for offices on the April ballot in Marthasville, Truesdale and the Village of Pendleton are running unopposed for their seats. Election graphic
